ROCK HILL —
Rock Hill Police are still investigating an accident from Monday evening in which a 74-year-old woman died.
Lt. Brad Redfearn confirmed the fatality around 6:30 p.m. Monday. The department’s STAR team was on scene investigating.
On Tuesday morning, Redfearn said the team is still trying to determine what happened, but the crash is being investigated as an accident.

Preliminary findings have determined she was the driver of the pick-up truck, he said. The STAR team is still trying to determine how the woman became pinned beneath the vehicle.
York County Coroner Sabrina Gast said late Monday officials are still trying to track down the woman’s family. She said the woman died at the scene.
